Miracles on The Bay: Making Miracles Team St. Jude.

Dear Friends,

As you may know, several years ago I helped to found “A Key For A Cure”, a foundation that has raised over $750,000 to fund St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital along with Jacob’s Heart – a local service organization dedicated to helping families with children suffering from childhood cancers. I am now part of something new, Team St. Jude, working directly with  St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Team St. Jude is sponsoring the Miracles on the Bay Webcast on Thursday, October 29 at 5 PM Pacific standard time. We are planning an evening of celebration and gratitude and a peek through the window at the transformational process that we have all invested in with St. Jude’s research hospital. All the members of Team St. Jude have been recognized by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as Ambassadors for the cause. We want to see the day when families are no longer forced to deal with the unimaginable pain of the loss of a child to the scourge of cancer. Having raised three healthy daughters in Monterey County, I am blessed everyday with the joy of having them in my life. 

Our mission is to help St. Jude find cures, save little lives and help families through a decimating process, made all that much worse by the pandemic. That will always be first and foremost in our hearts. Remember cancer does not quarantine! Nor does it slow down or stop!

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital needs our help now more than ever. Severe cutbacks are underway at the hospital as donations have fallen off as the economic strain of the pandemic encroaches on donations.
